Boys Scholarships
The following is a list of scholarships that are available through the Michigan State Bowling Association for any graduating high school senior boy
(BOYS ONLY) with unimpaired amateur standing in all athletics and must be a YABA sanctioned bowler in a sanctioned league during the present season.
State Scholarships are $1500.00 each. Deadline is March 1st.

Bay Area USBC Bowling Association “Wallace E Matthew” Scholarship
High School: Any Study: Any
These scholarships were established by the bowling associations in 1987 in memory of Wallace E. Matthew who was a member of the Board of Directors of the Bay City BA for more than 40 years and served as secretary for 35 years. Criteria: Resident of Bay, Arenac or Tuscola County)
Applicant must be a senior in high school and accepted as a full time student at an accredited college or university. The applying student must be: a current member of the Bay Area USBC Association, or a member of the Bay Area USBC Association for at least two or the last four seasons, or the child of a member of the Bay Area USBC Association or a member of their high school bowling team for at least two years.
Applicant must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Preference will be given in the following order: current USBC members who are children of members followed by current members, high school bowlers and children of current members.
